Description Hypericum elegans is an endangered species of the Czech flora. The species has been known in the Znojmo region only from locality Lamplberg hill near the village of Hnízdo which was discovered 20 years ago. This paper presents two new findings of Hypericum elegans from around the border crossing of Hatě-Kleinhaugsdorf and the village of Slup in the region. We also present phytosociological relevés to illustrate the vegetation where the species occurs in these localities. All three sites are in danger of becoming overgrown by woody species and require management to prevent the destruction of the habitat of rare heliophilous species.
