| Description | Speech etiquette allows a speaker to make ? contact with his interlocutor in accordance with existing norms of communication. Thus, it is one of the aspects of sociolinguistic competence. For that reason, speech etiquette expressions should be included in Russian Teaching Framework. Teaching speech etiquette should be conducted throughout the entire process of teaching Russian. This article presents a lesson plan and a methodology of developing sociolinguistic competence during a birthday celebration communicative situation. The lesson is aimed to be taught in Czech lower-secondary schools. |
