Description Quality early childhood education (ECE) can significantly enhance the lifelong learning and flourishing of all children. The European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education undertook a three-year project (2015–2017) to identify, analyse and subsequently promote the main characteristics of quality Inclusive Early Childhood Education (IECE) for all children from three years of age to the start of primary education.The aim of the conference was to introduce more closely how, within an inclusive perspective, IECE provisions across Europe are addressing the quality principles as the main outcomes of this project.
