Description The aim of the lecture is to present fear from the point of view of psychology of religion. The fear consisting of feeling that man could hostile God is such a horrible that people could behave abnormally. This fact is mainly used by religious ideology towards manipulation. From the other point of view a lot of religions move towards freedom of fear. In the example of Christianity the reasons of biblical freedom will be discussed. Otherwise institutional Christianity can produce fear and abuse it. The lecture is based on the ideas of German psychoanalytic E. Drewermann and on experiences of the lecturer.
