Description The dynamic development of information and communication technologies, especially multimedia and social networks, and their growing influence on the company's operation necessarily bring about the necessary changes in education. The area of foreign language teaching at universities is one of the environments in which the original experimental nature of the use of technologies, multimedia elements, and social networking has moved into the natural integration phase into ordinary teaching, and their presence has often become a routine matter. The aim of this contribution is to illustrate the possibility of selecting and creating teaching materials for complex, flexible and individualized language education in the academic environment, on the example of the Language Center of Masaryk University (CJV MU). The presentations will present functionalities that enable effective compilation and, in turn, didacticisation, of 16 online materials. It will also outline areas of social networking space that bring authentication elements that can effectively combine synchronous and asynchronous communication with activities of individual and collaborative nature in such a way as to enable university students to engage in realistic situations of academic or professional nature and to expose them an environment in which they can verify and improve their linguistic, professional and socio-cultural skills.
