| Description | The methodology creates a methodical procedure for evaluating urban production and garden areas. Specifically, they are gardening location (also known as urban allotments, garden settlements or garden colonies), whose evaluation is often based on subjective and selective criteria in practice. The intention of the authors of the methodology is to offer a tool which is maximally user friendly and therefore it is easy to evaluate a wide range of very specific territories. The proposed MEZA methodology is unique, because it deals with territories of gardening locations that have not yet been methodically evaluated. Novelty is above all in a comprehensive approach to the monitored indicators that links three main perspectives: a/ urban-administrative, b/ socio-economic and c/ ecological-environmental. These territories have irreplaceable importance for settlements. |
