| Description | This article deals with issues of the pecuniary punishment which is a traditional part of the system of criminal sanctions and which represents one of the most topical themes of the criminal law theory and practice. The author has a think about the position of pecuniary punishment in the system of criminal sanctions, also from the historical point of view, about the reasons for low imposition of this punishment and about the possible solution. In this connection she evaluates current legal regulation of pecuniary punishment and suggests some changes de lege ferenda. |
