| Description | The presented text is analyzed by a professional organization named Union of Museum Workers, which was established during the Prague Spring period and whose fates have been gradually concluded in the upcoming period of normalization. It seeks to defuse the motivations leading to its establishment during the summer of 1968, to reconstruct the breakthrough moments determining the overall development of the association and to present the main activities of the union. In the end, the significance of the Union for the Development of Museums in the Czech Republic will be briefly evaluated. |
