| Description | Leg ulcer (lat.Ulcus cruris) is a loss of skin substance reaching variously far into the subcutaneous tissues. This is a non-healing wound that goes beyond healing for more than 6 weeks. Women are more likely to be affected, 3: 1 (female: male). Treatment is lengthy and attention is paid to finding new treatments. The day with the use of a cell-free sterile biological cover made from pig skin is presented in our contribution, paying attention to the recommended application. |
