| Description | The first part of the lecture cycle Nominalization I introduces the basic types of nomination in various approaches of generative grammar, (i) desentential transformation, (ii) decomposition of the internal structure of features (XP embedding under the n0 / D0 head) It is shown that the typology resulting from the approach (ii) distinguishes word size nominations (lecture II) and clause size nominations (lecture III). |
