| Description | In this paper, we continue to explore space in Sylvia Germain's novels. We analyze selected places in Central Europe, which appear in novels inspired by the author's stay in Czechoslovakia in the 1980s and 1990s. The writer revives in her writings the place and the whole atmosphere specific to her temporary homeland. The specific places are enriched with an invisible dimension, which is as important as the visual framework, and become mythical and at the same time integrate into the text and life, into the thinking and emotions of each character. |
