| Description | Possible thrombotic complications (venous and arterial) use of hormonal contraceptives have been known for over 50 years. The very causes of these complications are, as a rule, multifactorial, accompanied by a number of risk factors. Although the incidence in the female population may appear to be low, any health damage that can be easily prevented is unnecessary. The paper presents the results of a pilot survey for the intended epidemiological study, focusing on the way and level of prevention by healthcare professionals in women taking hormonal contraceptives. |
