| Description | Labour Law is a protectionist branch of law. Health and safety at work has therefore become the hard core of this area of law. The factor of “health” plays an important role in the formation and realization of a legal relationship during the performance of dependent work and it also directly affects not only the working conditions but also the status of the employee and the employer and their claims. The protection of life and health has a sovereign status in the structure of labour law and this aspect is reflected in all areas of regulation of the performance of dependent work – starting with health and safety at work, and continuing with working time, changes in employment, remuneration and/or social security of employees. The text of this publication deals with a number of suggested health and work issues, describes basic questions and offers solutions and comprehensive understanding of the importance of health in labour law. |
