| Description | The presented analysis focuses on the application practice of the concept of a defendant turning state’s evidence by Czech courts in the period of 2010/2017. In the second part of the analysis, the author familiarizes readers with the usual structure of an organized group or an organized criminal group, on the uncovering of which the person turning state’s evidence participated. The author further detects, to what extend the person turning state’s evidence contributed to detection of organized and how his cooperation with bodies active in criminal proceedings was reflected in the consideration of the type and assessment of punishment. He also analyses more fundamental or rare (excessive) court decisions. At the same time, the persons turning state’s evidence are characterized themselves. |
