| Description | This chapter tackles the issue of protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms in the criminal proceedings. At first, it introduces legal documents where these rights are enshrined, outlines their mutual relations as well as mechanisms of their protection both on domestic and international level. After that, it focuses on particular aspects of human rights in criminal proceedings and states selected relevant case-law of the European Court of Human Rights. |
