Description | Many states provide convicted offenders with the opportunity to get rid of the difficulties arising from previous convictions and thus fully return to society. In other words, as a general rule, to pursue a profession, activities or positions that require integrity. The individual states on this issue are characterized by their own regulation, which differs both in the quality and quantity of the removal or inaccessibility of records of criminal convictions. The article deals with the analysis, description and comparison of adjustments of the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Poland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Republic of Finland, the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of South Africa. |
