Citation
Description World War II is an important milestone transforming not only political and social order, but also a view of the role of man, religion and churches in the world. One of the major manifestations of this change is a peace movement, which after 1948 became an important tool of the communist regime for penetrating the ecclesiastical sphere in Czechoslovakia. The paper is focused on the changes in the meaning of a peace movement after World War II and after the year 1948 on the example of the Czechoslovak church in Brno. The paper shows the real impacts of significant (international) political events on the daily life of Christian communities.
