Description This contribution focuses on the issue of an immediate termination of an employment law relationship by the employer as to one of the possible ways how to unilaterally terminate an employment law relationship with the employee. The attention has been paid within this context to interpretation of one of the alternatives for applying the mentioned legal institute, more precisely to breaching a duty arising out of the legal regulations applicable to the work performed by the employee (or else, occupational duty of an employee) as far as the recent case law is concerned. Therefore, in selected practical cases the highest intensity of breaching this responsibility as presumed by the law (i.e. in an especially gross manner) has been analysed, which tends to distinguish a legitimate immediate termination of employment by employer from the notice given by employer based on breaching the stated duty in the event of failure to reach this particular intensity.
