Description The article presents in the historical context the education system in the Czech Republic in connection with the milestones. These were individual periods from 1945 to 1989. This year brought a change in the social system, and so began to receive currents of pedagogical thinking from Western Europe and the USA. The prerequisites for equal access to education were declared in the Education Act No. 561/2004 Coll., On pre-school, primary, secondary, tertiary professional and other education of children, pupils and students with special educational needs and pupils with extraordinary talent, as amended. There have been shortcomings and problems in implementing and promoting inclusive education, but it has been confirmed that inclusive measures are clearly the right step. The roles of individual actors, such as teachers, teacher assistants, school guidance staff and parents, have begun to strengthen. Individual actors communicate more and more effectively and the support goes to the end user, the child.
