Description Teaching a foreign language for specific purposes is not just about teaching vocabulary and developing knowledge in other linguistic categories. Today, more than ever, the needs of students affect sociolinguistic, pragmatic and general skills. By demonstrating three didactic activities we will demonstrate the possibilities of strengthening these skills with an emphasis on intercultural competence, which has become a new horizon in foreign language teaching (Beacco 2000, Beacco 2013). We will introduce videoconferencing lessons that were organized between the Language Center of Masaryk University (CJV MU) and Aftec Tours and CJV MU and l'IUT Université Picardie and also the content of the course Erasmus students assistant in foreign language teaching at MU and its implementation in courses of business French at the Faculty of Economics and Administration MU. We will specify their intercultural dimension and skills development opportunities that students will need in their future professional lives.
