Description Professional identity is formed by personal and social identity and changes with teacher’s career path. The identity is also influenced by teacher’s life story. Many authors believe that teacher’s identity consists of multiple identities. One of them divides identity into three parts: subject matter expert, pedagogical expert and didactical expert.
