Prophylactic treatment of haemophilia is based on regular administration of medicinal products that maintain haemostasis and thus prevents bleeding, especially bleeding into the joints, leading to arthropathy and disability. At present, already prophylactic treatment does not only focus on the prevention of bleeding, but also aims to help patients with hemophilia lead healthy and active life, ie. give them the opportunity to participate with most physical and social activities as well as the non-hemophilic population. |
