Description East Asia, Europe and then the whole world has been in the first quarter of 2020 witness of the spreading and associated pandemic of a new, yet unknown type of virus, which has been named coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. In connection with the spread of coronavirus and the associated hysteria, fear of unknown and ever tightening restrictive measures by national governments has the pandemic also taken on a criminal dimension. This raises the question of how law enforcement authorities should treat coronavirus-related crimes and how should be assessed. There is as well the question, whether there should be any reaction on these crimes by tactics of criminalistics and if, whether from the very beginning, i. e. from the moment of planning and organization of the investigation, or whether the relevant reactions should start during or at the end of the investigation, or whether the tactics of criminalistics may not respond to the spread of coronavirus.
