| Description | This article discusses the very close connection between criminalistics and criminal law, which is particularly evident in the daily activities of law enforcement agencies in connection with evidence. It reflects on the extent of their knowledge of criminalistics and concludes that in many cases this knowledge is not entirely satisfactory and how it should be increased. It also focuses on the current approach to teaching criminalistics at law faculties in the Czech Republic and on how and by whom it is provided. The entire article clearly argues and justifies why criminalistics should be a compulsory subject at these faculties. |
