Description The aim of the event was to confront the life of a small Central European village Bedřichovice near Brno and one of the world's largest metropolises London. The event took place in a space the size of the cadastral territory of Bedřichovice projected into the space of London 1:1 between the Tate Modern and St. Paul's Cathedral. The event was attended by 80 residents of Bedřichovice. They were asked to do in the defined space what they do in their daily routine - sweep, work in the garden, cycle, sunbathe, play, organise a fire drill, play football, wash the car, etc. There was also a visit to the church. In addition to the usual activities, the author also took advantage of the fact that among the residents of Bedřichovice there is an English teacher and a gallery curator. Both of them prepared a Czech language lesson and a tour of the imaginary Bedřichovice in the space of London. At the same time, 80 British painters took part in the event and painted the village in London based on photographs of the real Bedřichovice. It was the biggest performance of the year for Tate Modern. Since 2011, Grey has still organised a number of events with the residents of Bedřichovice. She has set a Bedřichovice holiday for 3 September: 2012 - Give me a holiday! 2013 - THIRD SEPTEMBER / competition in catching lions 2014 - Arrival of roast pigeons 2015 - Bedřichovice nad Temží (opening of the village square) 2016 - Feast after Feast I. 2017 - Feast after Feast II.
