Description Short dialogues on the streets, interviews, reports, stories... Drawings, photographs, advertisements, logos... All this and much more is contained in the book Brnox, a guide to the Brno Bronx. It is a very unconventional guide. The publication does not map out the area in the very centre of Brno by individual houses, but rather by themes, in ten colour-coded routes (white - faith and tradition, yellow - gourmet route, orange - shopping route, pink - children's route, red - historical and futuristic route, purple - holocaust route, green - flora and fauna, blue - culture and sport, grey - village in the middle of the city, black - night route). Each of the routes contains ten unconventional and unexpected points. Plus one trip tip. Thanks to these stops, the authors of the guidebook give a plastic picture of a place that almost everyone thinks something distinctive about, but few people know. The book is based on a project by Kateřina Šedá, who conducted a year-long field research in the streets of Brnox. She was joined by publicist Aleš Palán, bohemian Lucie Faulerová, and graphic designer Kristína Drinková. Collages and posters by Martina Kudlíková. The book won the Magnesia Litera award for journalism.
