Interactive teaching of Latin medical terminology

Description The focus of this paper is to share the experience of teaching foreign students at the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University, especially the issues connected to the various learning backgrounds of the students. Teaching Latin is especially challenging, because the teaching techniques used with modern languages (like listening, reading and overall immersion into the language) are not applicable. To counteract this, I have been using various interactive tools (Quizziz classroom mode, Wordwall, Quizlet) to make Latin more accessible. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using these tools and highlights the best options for interactive in-person classroom.
