• Description: South Moravia as “the real Moravia”? Wine and folklore are among the most significant symbols of Moravia. Thus, South Moravia is sometimes considered the “real Moravia”. While this “centre” of Moravia may benefit from the association of Moravia with such features, certain problems arise in the areas where these symbols are absent. In the borderland with Bohemia, some people consider Moravia a kind of “second-rate Moravia” or do not perceive it here at all.
