| Description | The article is devoted to the study of the concept of war in Victor Astafyev’s novelThe Cursed and the Slainand to the revealing author’s attitude to this phenomenon,expressed in repetitive images and ideas, discovering the specifics of the compositionartistic world in the context of the writer's work. Various aspects of the depictionof war based on the material of the novelThe Cursed and the Slainare analyzed. Asa result, a conclusion was drawn about the features of Astafyev’s late prose and theimage of war in his novel. |
