| Description | The conference contribution draws on extensive empirical research with prisoners and their children to highlight resilience support. This is based on positive development despite the adversity experienced by children. The focus on resilience is based on a strengths-based approach and a social ecological perspective, and focuses on how to support the child to be able to withstand the demands of the situation resulting from the incarceration of a parent and cope with it in an adaptive way. |
