| Description | The reading course concluded with late medieval sources on the Rapperswil lake bridge. Among them is the bridge toll letter of 1358 from Duke Rudolf IV (the founder) of Habsburg-Austria, which is conspicuous because of its ostentatious equestrian seal. The town seal of Rapperswil showed the town with the pier and the duke in an elaborate seal image from around 1360. |
