| Description | This thesis looks at corneal astigmatism in relation to gender and its changes with age. It is divided into two main chapters, the theoretical and the research part. The theoretical part is further divided into two larger chapters. The first one is focused on astigmatism, where the definition, symptoms, distribution and subsequent correction are described. The second chapter is titled changes in the eye caused by age. Changes in eye structures as well as functional changes are described in this chapter. In the research part, a goal of research and hypo-thesis was set. First, the methodology followed by the entire research is pre-sented. In conclusion, the results of the research carried out are statistically processed and whether hypotheses have been confirmed. |
