| Description | All retail product market makers with an investment component are under a duty to produce key investor information. Until the end of 2022, there were two main regimes governing this issue. On 1 January 2023, the core regimes were merged due to the end of the transitional exemption for UCITS fund managers and retail alternative investment funds. The following text analyses the regulation of the different regimes and selected elements of the transition for exempt entities. |
