| Description | The methodology for indoor sampling of healthcare facilities describes in detail which places are suitable for monitoring and how to standardize sampling of cytotoxic drugs. The method recommends the types of surfaces (places), the criteria for their selection and the planning strategies suitable for monitoring. The text also includes a description of the method of collection and processing of samples obtained from wiped surfaces. The methodology describes the derivation of recommended technical guidance value for contamination by selected cytotoxic drugs in indoor healthcare facilities based on the collected monitoring data. This certified methodology is the result of the project "Monitoring of exposure to cytotoxic drugs in healthcare workers and family members of oncology patients, risk analysis, development of recommended procedures" (NV18-09-00188). |
