| Description | The book presents several perspectives on the phenomenon of coppice forests. The author's chapters show the ecological, historical, aesthetic and economic aspects of this traditional type of forest management. The coppice forests have a rich history, a large part of the biodiversity of different groups of organisms is linked to them, and they have their own aesthetic qualities. The restoration of coppice forests today is richly illustrated in the photographic part of the publication. |
