Description BACKOGROUND A acceptable nutrition is a basic for right growth, health and progress of child. Breast feeding is a ideal way of baby nutrition during the first six months. Since age six month just maternity milk doesn’t suffice to satisfy of need of energy and all nutrition. Then children merge into usual famialial diet. MATERIAL AND METHODS In January 2008 there was realized a research for detecting of nutrition of children until two years age. The research was realized in chosen maternity hospitals in Frýdek-Místek region in Czech republic. The research was realized by questionnaire method. 50 mothers took part in this questionnaires. The questionnaires contented 41 qusteions, there are published only some of them in this paper. RESULTS The first question was related to breast feeding. It was determined 94 % of children was breast feeding where they left maternity hospital. In age six month was breast feeding 74 % of children only. The next question was related to smooking of mothters. It was determined 6 % of mothers were smookers and they wrote they lived in smoky environment in time of pregnant. 9 mothers wrote their child has allergy. The most of children had problems with eggs and cacao. CONCLUSIONS It was determined that almost all children (94 %) were full breast feeding after leaving maternity hospital, in age six month was full breast feeding 74 % of them only. 10 % of mothers stayed during their pregnant time in smoky environment, 6 % of them were smokers. The most frequent allergy were allergy on eggs and cacao.
