| Description | The paper analyses the bill that plans to establish a Public Defender of Children’s Rights in the Czech Republic. The institution shall be a variant of the Public Defender of Rights and its task shall be defending human rights and maintaining good administration. The first part of the paper briefly describes the current legislation, the second one presents the draft and compares it with the existing legislation on the Public Defender of Rights. The third and final part analyses possible risks and benefits of the intended legislation. |
