| Description | The groundwater levels around Kotouč quarry are affected by the long-term mine water extraction. Continued mining requires the deepening of the quarry. However, this is going to be linked to an increase in the mine water inflow into the quarry. The originally proposed depth of the mine was reduced to a depth of 287 m. Such deepening will cause relatively moderate drop of groundwater levels around the quarry. |
