| Description | The provided text represents the results of first wave of sample survey of the Roma population implemented within the project Creating a System for Quantitative Data Collection to Evaluate the Situation of Roma in Czech society. This project responds to the absence of valid ethnic data about the socio-economic situation of the Roma minority. The survey results are presented in the form of evaluated indicators with the aim of providing an overview of measured values and their comparison with values applicable to the general population. Various indicators describe the situation of the Roma population in different life areas, such as education, the labour market, health, housing, poverty and discrimination. The data was collected from January to May 2022, and 1,549 questionnaires (using the PAPI method) were completed by respondents aged 16 and older, inclusive. |
