Description Analgesic pharmacotherapy during pregnancy frequently represents a concern for health care professionals, even if the analgetic agents belong between the most frequently used therapeutic agents during pregnancy. The objective was to provide a recent safety assessment about the usage of analgetic agents in clinical practice by pregnant women and to reflect the risk of analgetic agents and safety for foetal health in clinical practice. Many analgetic agents during pregnancy belong to FDA categories C and D. The retrospective observational study with a timeframe from year 2013 to 2019 informed about the impact of analgetic agents on foetal health, also the most frequent stage of pregnancy. Subsequently, the frequency of utilization of analgetic agents by pregnant patients in hospital practice was described and also a relationship between concrete analgetic agents and negative outcomes on foetal health. Study emphasizes outcomes of pregnant patients who used analgetic agents solely. In addition, the influence on blastocyst implantation during analgesic pharmacotherapy was evaluated.
