Description This presentation announces the official release of the latest wave of the Czech Generations and Gender Survey (GGS-II), now available to researchers working on work–care balance and parental leave policy. The data span two waves fielded in 2020–2022 and 2025, with an initial sample of 5,594 respondents and a 66% retention rate in wave 2 (n=3,717), enabling both cross-sectional and panel analyses as well as cross-national comparison. The questionnaire covers employment status during maternity, paternity and parental leave, return-to-work intentions, flexible work arrangements, the division of childcare and housework, and attitudes toward working parents and gender roles. Data and documentation are accessible through the GGP Data Portal and the Colectica browsing tool, with simplified teaching datasets also available for classroom use. The talk further invites the research community to contribute to the development of the next wave (GGS-III, expected around 2032) and to engage with the GGP's ongoing geographic expansion.
