Citation
Description One frequent frustration when studying the development of settlements during the La Tene period is the small number of documented settlements from LT B1, as well as the non-descript pottery from this period which is dicult to date (Dreslerová et al. 2022). An interesting assemblage from Bulhary (Breclav okr.), recovered in 2024, and the first radiocarbon data from animal bones from Bulhary show that the 'invisibility' of settlements from the early La Tene B period may have other causes stemming from traditional pottery typology, and that the chronology of the early La Tene period requires revision through targeted radiocarbon dating.
