| Description | The study reports findings from a quasi-experimental study conducted with second-year students enrolled in the Primary School Education programme at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. Overall, the results highlight the benefits of explicit pragmatics instruction, particularly in relation to distinguishing between formal and informal styles and making appropriate linguistic choices when performing different speech acts and achieving specific communicative goals in given contextual situations. |
