| Description | The study maps the reception and “second life” of the anthology of Russian Formalists edited by Mikuláš Bakoš and published in 1941 under the title Teória literatúry (Theory of Literature). Particular attention is given to the book’s “second life”, especially in the context of American and French literary scholarship. The author points out the similarities and correspondences between four similarly structured anthologies of Russian Formalists’ writings by M. Bakoš, L. Matějka and T. Todorov. |
