| Description | A sharp growth of the non-profit sector after the year 1989 brought totally new models of civil society functioning. Political representation, forming the government till the year 1998, had often refused to take the non-profit sector as an equal partner for the public affairs management. But in the EU should be situation when most of the regional decisions are discussed beforehand and voted democratically about, i.e. based on the principles of partnership between public, civil and commerce sector. With the running entegration process of the Czech Republic and the EU, there is a strong attempt to lessen interregional difference among the future euro regions. The attempts are based on the National Development Plan which derived form the Regional Development Strategy. |
