| Description | This study of the zoobenthos documented important impact of different types of stream regulations on its structure. The occurence of the zoobenthos in the regulated part of the brook was supported by the presence of bedsediments and by the conection of surface benthic layer with hyporheic zone. The research of the zoobenthos some hundereds of metres downstream from the regulated part of the brook showed the fall in the presence of species and in the diversity of the zoobenthos after the stream regulation. |
