Description Persisting positivity of antibodies in acute ITP was in correlation with the didease chronicity. Antibody positivity in patients inremission could be in sign of relapse risk and therofore needs creful follow-up. The sensitivity of direct MAIPA on our cohort of chronic ITP children 53% and only 31% in acute ITP and the specifility for chronic ITP is 82%. The sensitivity of indirect MAIPA is low, only 23% in chronic ITP and 17% in acute ITP.Platelet-associated and serum antibodies should be tested simultancously to get more precide results for interpretation.
