Description The aeolian sands overlying the Upper Pleistocene fluvial sandy gravel in the valleys of both Morava and Dyje Rivers are typical for their confluence area. The characteristic dunes are dated to Late Glacial and the existence of Mesolithic to Slavonic settlements on them has been proved. Aeolian and fluvial sediments are characterised by their grain-size parameters.
