| Description | The "Digital Library of Photographs at the Masaryk University in Brno" project (DKF-MU) aimed at creation of programming tools and practical recommendations for digitizing of university photo-collections and their presentation on the Internet in the www-environment, started in 2001. Authors implemented a software system to support the DKF-MU and digitized two collections containing some 2000 photographs. The article presents approaches and solutions applied in the project and also contains a comprehensive bibliography for relevant topics in the field of digital imaging. |
