| Description | Bis(4-dimethylaminopyridinium) 1,2-difluorodiphosphate, [DMAPH]2[P2O5F2], belongs to the class of catena-difluoropolyphosphates of general formula [PnO3n-1F2]n- (n=2,3,...), and is the second representative of this series characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compared to K2[P2O5F2] the anion adopts a different conformation enforced by its N-H...O bridging to the cation. |
